there’s many reason’s why i adore this Upstate tie-dye top - namely because the of it’s tiny hints of green, burgundy and fuchsia nestled in between the blues. it makes it awesome to pair with similar shades, as seen in my shoes, purse and throw on sweater. generally speaking, it makes the art of subtle coordination easy, and really, that’s what all us tired girls are looking for when racing out the door in the morning, right? ok g2g practice for a new biz pitch see ya tomorrow! xoxo.

i’m a bit sick of my dresses, skirts and pants right now, so a revisit to my summer wardrobe was in order. with thick tights, it’s amazing just how much hot-weather garb can be worn right now. i kept the accessories light to compensate for the pattern excess and went barbie doll pink with the makeup. xoxo.

i’d originally planned to wear black jeans today, but needed something slimmer in the ankles to pair with my new (and new favorite) shoes from GoJane.com. i still can’t believe they were only $30 and look so high-end. anyways, a change of pants left me wearing four different shades of aqua blue and i think it actually looks cool; less matchy than i’d anticipated for sure!
it’s so weird how quickly my color preferences changed as soon as my hair color did. i thought i’d always be obsessed with pinks and peaches, and while i still love the shade, now that i’m no longer a blonde, i find myself searching for mint greens and lavender items to wear. it’s not even something i consciously thought about and was more of an automatic response. i just think it’s quite interesting how the brain’s preference for color works like that! xoxo.
