the warm weather we experienced yesterday is just a distant memory, leading me back to the darker shaded layers i’ve loved wearing for the last few months. this new blazer makes the cold ok - its so rich and fits like the perfect blazer should! gotta jet. have a great weekend. xoxo.

i wore this very blazer to a little blogger get together last night (where i saw sara and holly and finally met jessica of tuula vintage - haiii ladies!!) and received so many questions and looks of shock when they discovered it was Forever 21! there’s so many tips and tricks to shopping at f21 but one of the top ones for me is to keep an eye out for items that look like their from a high-end designer brand. once you’ve found them, check the fabric - will it rip? will it pill easily (that ones for you sbz), are the zippers working? any holes from the price tag? if you’ve checked all these boxes, like i did with said jacket, you’ve got yourself some f21 gold - buy it!
i’m so glad i got this dress last time i was in china -its unexpected to have a sequined collar on a super thick cotton dress and that’s why i love it. and while it could have held its own worn alone today, where’s the fun in that? i tend to always add a couple extra layers and because its so beautiful out in the city today, doing so leaves no need for a coat. how exciting — i hope this weather continues! xoxo

this top is totally adorable and quite reminiscent of a circus tent don’t you think? i attended the Lulu’s event for NYFW and was able to grab an item off the racks that i adored. i know, a dream come true, right? i love wearing peaches and pinks but didnt have a patterned top in the shade that i loved. this is the perfect one and it’s so lightweight, i can see myself wearing it over a swimsuit this summer!
headed out in a bit to the Foley + Corinna showroom to check out the latest collection. i’ve heard great things about it but want to see everything up close, as i’ve long been a fan and it was one of the first shops i went to when i first moved to the lower east side and found it right down the street! will post some favorites tomorrow and tweet some photos tonight! xoxo.
