prints are experiencing their shining moment right now, giving me the perfect excuse to go shopping for more, this time with a focus on spring shades and patterns. i purchased this top complete with the trifecta of attributes - peter pan collar, flowered print and sheer mesh back - for only $25 at H&M, as well as a few other printed pieces i can’t wait to wear this week! i’m also on a kick with bigger statement earrings - blame it on karla for always looking epic in huge ones that has me lusting for the same. the ones i’m wearing today are on sale at Forever 21 for $5 right now. xoxo.

this feels very reminiscent of me last year around this time, tons of printed pants paired with combat boots and i’ve missed dressing like this! i just about died when i grabbed this top at Forever 21. i wish you could see how thick and structured it is in-person - like a cage. definitely looks very high end. i’ve barely worn these combat boots of late but they rescued me in china where we walked in frigid temps all around the city - again, one of my favorite go-to shoes that feel good to be back on my feet!! xoxo.

black and white together is a classic pairing that becomes instantly more geometric and chic when opposite shapes and lengths are at play. this cropped Forever 21 sweater is years old and long forgotten until i went on the hunt for a contrasting yet streamlined addition to this blouse. i love how it doesn’t weigh down the blouse and worn open shows the beading without being too covering.
it’s rainy in the city right now but that won’t stop me from sneaking away from work for an hour to head to the soho showing of Erica Weiner’s collection with the one and only sara zucker! erica’s jewels are both new and vintage, and all have this charming, old world feel that’s surprisingly modern. i can’t wait to see the baubles in person and share my favorites! xoxo.
