i’d like to take a moment to thank H&M for it’s current offerings! i purchased this top there yesterday, allowing me to grab yet another minty-shaded item and this time, with a peplum fit i’ve been lusting after. the rose-gold flats we’re also purchased there yesterday — for $14! i’m a bit surprised at how versatile the shade is and will definitely be living in these all summer.
it’s a bit rainy and gross out, but when sunnier weather approaches, can’t wait to try top this with a bubble skirt to accent the peplum even more! headed to the trump soho to help them pick their summer cocktail tonight!! can’t wait. xoxo.

want to wear: scenic print blazer: ASOS.
i vow to never stop loving overly-printed garb and my latest want to wear clearly attests to the vow’s truth. i frankly wouldn’t mind wearing the puff skirt as well. there’s an ongoing battle at home as i desperately try to secure the placement of a toile-covered couch and its a battle i don’t think i’ll win anytime soon so until then why not just wear it? xoxo.

last week i stopped by Erica Weiner’s soho showroom to check out her collection in-person. since then, practically everyone i’ve mentioned the designer and her beautiful store to has had the same ‘ohhhh i love erica weiner. ohhh her jewelry is so beautiful.’ response. i feel the same way. in talking with Weiner, who let me know that her collection, which began years ago with a focus on costume jewelry, is becoming more and more focused on collectible, curated vintage treasures, i saw a true passion for finding the antique pieces we all crave but have a hard time finding. beautifully-displayed in glass boxes, antique tables and wall frames among old pictures and display materials are endless amounts of new and old pieces that all seem to carry with them an awesome, storied past. many pieces are under $50 but just as many are high-end.
the newest focus for Weiner and her staff is a focus on vintage wedding rings. they’re all in the process of getting their gemology certification and building up their collection of truly stunning rings in the back case. if you’re like me and easily swoon over old diamonds on a thin-bandedcrown setting with oodles of milgrain and filigree, you’ll be in heaven here. i urge you to stop by if you’re in the city, or shop online if you’re not. xoxo.
