above: sara and i wearing the new Warby Parker ‘wendell.’
last night i attended Warby Parker’s Summer 2012 preview and officially more obsessed than ever. there’s no doubt their designs are top-notch. i currently have the ‘webb’ and adore them. below are some favorites from the new optical collection - first the ‘percey,’ which i’m also wearing below, followed by the ‘ainsworth’.
they have some amazing sunglasses coming out too. i adore the ‘wendell’ (above) which can be purchased with or without prescription lenses. next, the new blue mirror collection and ‘thatcher’ and way below, the ‘winston’ which is everyone’s favorite as an optical frame so they made it into sunglasses!
the new frames are coming soon - so keep an eye out. and per usual, you can score the optical lenses with prescription for $95 and the sunglasses with prescription for $150 and without for $95. score! xoxo.

Want to Wear: L.A.M.B. ‘river’ satchel
***
i’m obsessing over this L.A.M.B. bag right now. it has the structure of a doctor’s bag with the worn-in feel of the perfect vintage handbag. to me, it’s that everyday bag that really does match with everything but is still chic - not at all plain and lame.
i really have to give it to mrs. stefani she’s designing some really amazing things of late. anyways, the bag comes in navy and black, retails for $325 and is part of L.A.M.B.’s upcoming Fall 2012 line, which will hit stores in june. i peeked the lookbook and expect lots more where this came from including some amazing geometric patterns and bright (i mean brightttt) shades. you can get some sneak peeks yourself here. def worth the investment. xoxo.

i was super excited to attend SCOTLAND RE:DESIGNED an event in meatpacking which housed a ton of established and up-and-coming designers from scotland. i found a few in particular that caught my eye and I wanted to share a favorite piece form each.
the first, is Bebaroque, which makes decorative hosiery and bodywear. i adore this pale pink body suit encrusted with the baubles feminine dreams are made of. they carry the same design in a mini dress and in other colors. they also make sheer stockings and socks with elaborate designs, hand embroidery and jewels.
next, Caerlee, a brand made in Scotland utilizing lots of cashmere and intarsia runs the oldest continually operating textile mill in the country and beyond its own label, produces products for the likes of Chanel and Thom Browne so you know their pieces are quality. i adore the fun patterned sweaters juxtaposed against the richest fabrics and i just love, love this sweater.
lastly, Henrietta Ludgate, quite possibly the coolest cat in all of scotland. check out the chic structural shape of her dress on the far right. i spoke with Ludgate, who was fabulous and touted her line’s minimalist silhouette and luxurious fabrics. Ludgate’s dresses have appeared in Vogue’s Green Carpet Challenge and she’s dresses everyone from the Queen to Michelle Obama!
hope you love seeing the pieces and i encourage you to check out the designers’ lines via their sites! xoxo.
